Two parts to this blog, the first is Corporate greed, I will give one example, British Gas made a profit off £1.4 Billion for the year 2012, and the prices go up for everyone in the UK. I myself got two bills totalling £650 around Christmas, I will pay it, but many struggle to do so. We also learn this week that members of the British Parliament want a wage rise off 33%, they want 1/3 more off what they already get, and this isn’t including expenses and the expenses scandal where members of the British parliament were seen to be claiming from the paying British tax payers for an extra house they didn’t live in for example, they had relatives in it
This is greed on a grand scale they don’t even try to hide. And I could throw many more instances of this into this blog from companies such as BP and many more. When the price of living is going up, and the wages off the average person in the UK are going down, they want more from us. Soon they will come for and take your pension.
The banks worldwide make Billions of pounds/dollars/Euros etc a year, and all over the world, we the average tax payers have had to bail out the banks, that gambled with money they never had. They throw loans at people hoping they can’t pay so they can get your home off you. They want it all, their yearly profits are sickening, but this isn’t enough for them, they want more still, and we pay. We complain, but we pay. Corporate Greed is a global thing and anyone on an average wage in a developed country will have a story to tell, this is sick and wrong. How much is enough I ask?
We live on a planet where 92% of its inhabitants believe in their god or religion. So on the face off it, looking at that percentage, we should have a war free world, and where peace is the order off the day, as 92% is a vast majority of the 7 billion people who live in our planet.
So why war? I know war makes money; we only have to Google Halliburton, the war makers and who is on its board of directors, or dictators to answer the question of why war is worthwhile to a small minority, as it makes money. The world has lost it’s way, this is not the way it was meant to be. Evil has taken over. I may be wrong. I hope I am wrong, but I look around, and I see evil all over our world. There are good people, off course there is, but again, look into what countries are in or at war, and it tells a story about our world. War and Greed have our planet in its grasp, can we change this? If we can’t, we look to a grim future, a bad future for our children. is it too late to fix? or can we find a Eutopia, or is this just myth
I ask a question to any reading. Name countries that are not
Involved in a war
In Civil War
You will quickly see the answer is not many. And this is a sad fact for us all to get our heads around. Why do we have so many wars? And why does religion cause war? I am not saying all war is religious in nature. The UK is threatening to go to war with Argentina over the Falkland Islands again, but overall most wars in the Middle East and the African continent are wars off religion, where one faction thinks their God is better than the oppositions God
The question I would ask is a simple one, why so many versions off the same God? God is God, and in any design he is there to teach people who love him to live for peace and be humble and human to other people and show humility. So if God is real, and 92% off our world believe in God (Good), then the opposite must exist, Lucifer, the Devil. He has many names for many religions also. If God Vs the Devil is true, then who is in control off our world? I see acts of humility on a personal level every day, we all do, but on a larger scale, when people come together, evil takes over people. As someone who is not 100% in believing in any religion, I see Evil all over our world, with the odd acts of kindness from the individual.
I don’t have all the answers, and don’t claim to either. So let’s get some debate going on these topics. PLEASE leave your comments underneath this article.
