Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell has been rushed to hospital after a 911 call from her Los Angeles home Tuesday, TMZ is reporting. Paramedics went to the folk legend’s home at around 2:30 p.m. local time, the website said, citing sources. Ms. Mitchell was alert on the way to the hospital, the website said, although the 911 call was for an unconcious person.
Ms. Mitchell was in intensive care late Tuesday, TMZ said. Ms. Mitchell was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and was best known for her highly influential albums in the late 1960s and 70s, including Clouds, Ladies of the Canyon and Blue. She has sold millions of records in a career that led the way for many female artists in the previously male-dominated rock world.
Lets hope she is ok
