    • Well yes, of course.. 😀 But if you read the whole blog, search my blog for “Catholic Church” it’s a story I have been on for around 18 months when life handed me a chair. I am passionate about getting news of child sex abuse out and this falls into that story in the sense he is not the first nor will he be the last priest or other grades Religious leaders to say “Hell was invented to control fear in people”… And I can’t see it any other way. I was born here in Scotland to Catholic ways, as I got older, due to issues me and my friends seen and felt as kids, I walked away from the church but I kept God. I pray every day but I don’t read scripture, sit in a building and nor do I pay for God. I don’t think that is the way it was meant to be. Seriously, I have told so many stories about Religion, through my childhood questions as a 40 year old guy today. Search and just read the headlines. This is not a new story or anything we didn’t know..All it does is add weight to an already huge story of making people scared in order to control them…

  1. This guy is an idiot. He obviously doesn’t know the Bible or what it says too well. Do your research and find out what the Bible (and Jesus) said about Hell.

  2. Interesting…But if we dislike the idea of Hell. We want to be our own gods. We believe that we are the end to all reality. But this is false. We are under the authority of God through fear of hell no?. God is all good. God is all just. Hell is just for our rebellion to God’s hidden truth told by Religion.
God does not have to justify Himself to us. We have to justify ourselves to God in any way we choose.
Jesus paid the price. You have a choice: accept Him or reject Him. I don’t accept the Jesus story through an old book.
So we choose through what means? Logical or Scriptural?
    I know what I choose..
