When I first uttered the name “Anonymous” around the year 2003/2004 I was mocked, today many who mocked me have an Anonymous mask as their Social Media Avatar Face, this is great, people seen what I seen, people could feel as I did. This all started when 4Chan renamed to Anonymous in 2003, the story goes that a one Christopher Poole, a fifteen-year-old insomniac from New York City launched 4chan, a discussion board where fans of anime could post photographs and irascible comments. The focus quickly widened to include many of the Internet’s earliest memes: LOLcats, Chocolate Rain, RickRolls. Users who did not enter a screen name were given the default handle Anonymous, and today we are known as ‘Legion’ I am an active member but have never marches nor met face to face with another member from the hive, nor have I spoken to a real voice, always the voice I hear is synthesized. I am part of the Anonymous movement by default, their goals are mine and mine their’s along with a Billion and more people who want to change our World. Glasgow, this is your time. This is a Global Mask March but Glasgow is a City chosen this year along with many more. I hope you are ready to try and change the World you always say you want to change, yet do nothing. Do not be irony, do not be ignorant or worse yet deny your ignorance for a wanting to see our World ruled by you and I and the rest of humanity. Expect them Glasgow! As always details below with Tweets from around the World!

Greetings citizens of the world and Glasgow, We are Anonymous, and welcome to the 2015 event page for the Million Mask March Glasgow. This event is recognized worldwide as your chance to take a stand against those in power. The people who cover up their dreadful acts, by using the biased mainstream media to lure us away from the real truths. Who try to take our civil and human rights away, by driving us to poverty and making us ‘less’ than they are. The ones who rule, with no idea of what it’s like to be a ‘common man’. Well we are not less ! And we are more than common ! We are Legion!
Anonymous is the answer. We are the fight, fighting back at the oppressors. Anonymous is not about the mask. Anonymous is about the idea. The idea that people like us can unite as one, and fight against the tyranny and oppression of those who have enslaved us and our minds. Anonymous has no leaders and no one in charge. What we have, is a collective of like minded individuals who are fed up fighting for scraps when we can be fighting against the Elite. They do not care for us, so we make them care. We make them listen. We are all one. Stop being angry about being able to do nothing, and join us. Use that anger. Use your voice. A wise man once said ‘Like you I was forced to learn that there are those without decency, who must be fought without hesitation, without pity. Your anger gives you great power, if you use it wisely, and do not let it destroy you’
Our belief is that people should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people. At the end of the day they sit in their fancy houses, paid for by us, eating their lavish meals, which you can guarantee having no traces of horse/human meat, and prepared, by us. We are the ones with the real power, and without us the Elite would have NO ONE to rule, therefore would lose. When our eyes open, we see the real potential in ourselves.
So do not think that you cannot make a difference. That you cannot change the world for the better. That is what they want you to believe. With the Million Mask March, you have the opportunity to let your voice be heard by the people, and the world ! Join us on the 5th of November, on a March from George Square to Glasgow Green, as we unite with brothers and sisters all over the world, to remind those in power that these streets, are OUR STREETS!
We are Anonymous
We Are Legion
We represent the world
We represent the people
You may have heard of Anonymous through a friend, in the news or through social media. Anonymous includes lawyers, architects, IT specialists, programmers, writers, nurses, waiters, taxi drivers and even government workers. Anonymous is the people. It is not an organization, because there are no leaders. Anonymous is an idea – and if you share that idea, then Anonymous is you and you are Anonymous. Anons are everywhere – they are your neighbors, friends, family and co-workers. Anonymous is not only a network of hackers – in reality, it includes any citizens who are concerned about the future of this world, sharing a common simple goal, which is freedom for all – from oppression, censorship and unjust laws. Whether you follow the mainstream news or not, it is clear that the direction our country and its leaders are taking is not in the best interest of the citizens. On November 5, 2013, we will hold a peaceful protest in Glasgow. There will be no hate speech, no threats, no violence, no drugs, no vandalism, no alcohol and no disorderly conduct. We simply want to congregate in a large group to protest in solidarity and show our government that we are displeased with their actions – and want to see some changes. We have been promised reform in several areas but have seen few changes that benefit the people. If you are tired of empty promises, new unconstitutional laws being passed every day, ever-increasing taxes that are only funneled into more wasteful spending and debt we cannot afford or laws that eliminate jobs and increase living expenses, then you are welcome to join. This is a public event. In the short time since it was created, the event is already gaining overwhelming popularity, and many attendees have committed to carpooling. This is an opportunity for you to express your right to free speech while you still have it. This is not a time for violence or causing trouble. This is a time to peacefully show our country’s leaders that we are all tired of the corruption and would like to see them make some positive changes that benefit the struggling people of this weary nation. There is already too much violence and hate in the world as it is, so it is time we stand together as citizens and assemble peacefully. Forget religious affiliations, forget sexual orientation, forget political party affiliation, forget race, forget gender – we are all British citizens and we all want our freedom back. Until we stop dividing ourselves, we can never stand together for the common good of everyone. This event will be a time for everyone to gather peacefully, make friends and make a peaceful, non-violent statement that will hopefully go in the history books as a positive one.
