Campaign for California to secede from the USA marches on!!

The first legal requirements to succeed from the USA have been met!!!!

Californians have long been upset to find fewer tax dollars enter their state than leave. It was once a big part of recalling their Governor and installing a Governator. Funding the great and failing center of our country, all while being told you are too “crunchy” and “granola” apparently gets tiresome! Citizens of the Bear Republic are now cleared to seek signatures supporting an amendment to the state constitution. The amendment would remove text both declaring California inseparable from the Union, and respecting the U.S. Constitution as the “supreme law of the land.”

600,000 signatures and it goes to a public vote. California knows how to party.

‘Multiple Victims’ In California Mass Shooting – Live Video Feed Here

JUST from a few comments I have seen and while speaking to people, it is ‘Alleged’ this was an ISIS attack. Now I am not 100% on this. So for now it is just a pointless loss of life again from America. Again someone gets a gun and ruins hundreds of lives. I see report stating over 20 dead, this is so tragic and I pray it is not ISIS. Although a few who have contacts I don’t tell me “The Police don’t want to say ISIS” So keep that in mind while this story develops. Everything aside this shows again what a Gun culture can do. This is utterly tragic whoever did it. Live video and tons of tweets from others on this story below

Happy Harvey Milk Day – May 22nd #LGBT

All though our history we have people who have made or helped change things. One guy who did was Harvey Milk. I watched the movie with Sean Penn when it came out and what this guy did for the LGBT community not just where he lived but Worldwide can’t be forgotten. This is not a day we recognize here in Scotland but I was aware it is a big date for many. So to everyone who took Harvey’s legacy and made it more real, this is for you. Have a great day, as a species we must not label people. We wouldn’t say “Look at all those Christian’s at that table drinking wine” But people will say “Look at all these gay, transgender and bisexual people” We as a species label each other and we must stop. Anyway, if you celebrate this day, please! Have fun and enjoy your God given right to be, just to be. Harvey Milk Day is organized by the Harvey Milk Foundation and celebrated each year held May 22 in memory of Harvey Milk, a gay rights activist assassinated in 1978, yeah another person with a peaceful message was killed, there is a theme here, anyone see it yet? RIP Harvey Milk, may your legacy go on for all of time and people be allowed to be, just be

“I ask for the movement to continue, for the movement to grow, because last week I got a phone call from Altoona, Pennsylvania, and my election gave somebody else, one more person, hope… You gotta give ‘em hope.”

— Harvey Milk

What is Harvey Milk Day?

Harvey Milk Day is a day to educate your school about an extraordinary leader whose courageous work to end discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in the 1970s set the stage for many of the civil rights advances we see today.

Who was Harvey Milk?

Harvey Milk was an activist, organizer, and the first openly gay man elected to public office in the country as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in the late 1970s. Harvey Milk came out and started organizing against discrimination of gay and lesbian business owners in the Castro District of San Francisco, and against the Briggs Initiative (this was an initiative on the California state ballot in 1978 that would have banned gays and lesbians from working in California schools). Milk was responsible for passing gay rights ordinances for the city of San Francisco and served eleven months in office before he was assassinated on November 27, 1978 along with San Francisco Mayor George Moscone. We celebrate Harvey Milk Day on his birthday, May 22.

New Resources for Teachers

HMD CurriculaThe California Safe Schools Coalition, GSA Network, and Our Family Coalition have come together to create a website for educators to access curriculum about Harvey Milk.

The website features new Harvey Milk Day curriculum suitable for teaching high school students, in addition to existing curriculum already in use in elementary schools. This includes a short educational biography of Harvey Milk, curricula organized by grade level, resources and links for Harvey Milk books and movies, and the ability for teachers to submit curricula they have developed for their own classes and others.

GSAs: How can you celebrate Harvey Milk Day?

See how GSAs across California celebrate Harvey Milk Day.

  • Ask your school to have an announcement on the PA system about Harvey Milk Day. Include who he was, what he did, and why remembering him is important for you and your school.
  • Hold an assembly to celebrate Harvey Milk, and use it as a time to educate your peers about LGBT issues and the impact that Harvey Milk had on our community.
  • Invite speakers who can either talk about Harvey Milk’s impact in the 1970s or the relevance of his work today.
  • Encourage your teachers to have a class discussion on Harvey Milk and the LGBT civil rights movement. In History or Social Sciences classes, you may ask to devote either a portion or an entire class to talking about past LGBT community leaders and other civil rights leaders from the 1970s.
  • Have an LGBT teach in, take over the cafeteria or study hall and teach about Harvey Milk and other LGBT leaders.
  • Consider working with other students or groups on campus to expand Harvey Milk Day into an entire “Forgotten History Week.” Have discussions, show movies, or make posters about other important historical leaders who seem to have been forgotten.
  • Show the movies “The Times of Harvey Milk,” “Castro” (which aired on PBS), or “Milk” to your GSA, in a History or Social Sciences class, or to the whole school and hold a discussion afterwards. Consider screening one of these movies after school, during lunch, or making it into a weeklong series.

  • Create a poster campaign for your school (you can use the GLBT History Month site at for more information). Make posters highlighting Harvey Milk and bring attention to other figures in the LGBT and other civil rights movements.
  • Make buttons, stickers, or t-shirts expressing support for Harvey Milk and the LGBT community.
  • Write an article for your school paper about Harvey Milk and what his story means to you.

More Tips for Planning & Having a Successful Harvey Milk Day

  • Make a Plan: Your GSA should prepare for how exactly you want to approach the day and what you want it to consist of.
  • Create a Timeline: After deciding on your club’s goal, you should make a timeline so that everyone knows what needs to be done. Be sure to include who is in charge of each item and when it needs to be finished.
  • Get More People Involved: Try to get as many people as possible aware of the event and involved in participating. You could do that by sending out e-mail announcements, advertising in the school newspaper, putting up flyers and posters, and of course by word of mouth.
  • Get Teachers/Administrators/Staff Involved: Find out if staff are interested in participating and schedule a meeting with your principal!
  • Build Coalitions/Build Bridges: Consider including other school clubs that may be interested in collaborating on the event.
  • Issue a Press Release: Let the local media know about what you are doing to honor Harvey Milk. Describe the events at your school, history of the event, and use some quotes from GSA members about why you are doing the event. Be sure to include a phone number for how a reporter can reach your group to follow-up for interviews.
  • Be Prepared! Have a meeting to discuss positive ways to handle harassment from non-participants. Be prepared to have spokespersons from your group who can speak about the event.

  • Announce the Event: Post an announcement in the daily bulletin or through the PA system at school explaining the event and requesting that all staff and students be respectful of the students participating in the project.
  • Coordinate Volunteers: Ask people to help setup your event. Make sure that you have enough people for setup, monitoring the event, and cleanup.
  • Provide Resources: Have a resource spot or staffed table where people can find info about your GSA or other LGBTQ groups and resources.
  • Organize Visual Displays: Organize a visual display such as having your participants wear a sticker or T-shirt, or put up posters all over campus explaining the event.

  • Continue the Education: Host a discussion about how to raise awareness about Harvey Milk and other LGBT activists everyday as opposed to one day out of the year.
  • Evaluate the Day: Evaluate the successes of the day and discuss what improvements could be made for next year.

Frequently Asked Questions about Harvey Milk Day

What is law for Harvey Milk Day?

In 2009, the State of California officially designated May 22 as “Harvey Milk Day.”  Education Code section 37222 now recognizes May 22 as Harvey Milk Day, and says that “public schools and educational institutions are encouraged to observe those days and to conduct suitable commemorative exercises . . . remembering the life of Harvey Milk, recognizing his accomplishments, and familiarizing pupils with the contributions he made to this state.”  Download a copy of the law here.

What does this mean for your school?

The law does not require your school to celebrate Harvey Milk Day, but the law should allow you (as a teacher or a student) to celebrate the day in a variety of ways.

I’m a teacher and I’d like to talk about Harvey Milk in a class:

If you teach a subject in which discussion of Harvey Milk would be appropriate (such as History or Social Sciences) or if you are teaching students in a neutral context such as home room, then you should be able to add in a discussion of Harvey Milk as a celebration of Harvey Milk Day.

I’m a student and I’d like to do a presentation about Harvey Milk in a class:

Your teacher will need to give you permission to do a special presentation, but you should use the law to argue that such a presentation is appropriate.  If Harvey Milk fits into an assignment you already have (such as an assignment to write about an historical figure), then you must be allowed to do the assignment on Harvey Milk – including a presentation.

My GSA would like to commemorate Harvey Milk Day publicly at school – in an assembly or by showing a movie:

You should ask your school to sponsor the assembly or the movie, and you should show them the law to explain why they should sponsor.  If your school refuses, you should check the rules as to how clubs can call assemblies/show movies – the school must apply the same rules to the GSA as to any other non-curricular student club.

My GSA would like to put up posters about our planned commemoration of Harvey Milk Day:

You should try to get special permission from your school to put up posters about the commemoration, showing your school the law. If your school doesn’t give you special permission, it still has to let you put up posters in the same places that other non-curricular clubs can put up posters (so, if the drama club can put up posters for a play, you can put up posters for your Harvey Milk Day commemoration).

For more information:

On your free speech and other rights, look at this guide.

If your school is not letting you celebrate Harvey Milk Day:

ISIS posts terrifying US warning: Is your state on the list?

Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, California, and Michigan are the 5 named, ISIS are in more states allegedly, this all seems too made up and obvious to me this story. On one hand I am fairly certain the USA fund ISIS as there have been too many whistleblowers, people to come forward and tell the story they believe to be true that the USA and others are funding ISIS. Here are 2 articles, linked to other sites and with links also, not my words, I share news remember, I can only tell the story I research and I research hard. Link 1 and Link 2. Now we have supposed ISIS inside the USA about article-terror3-0505to wreck havoc. When I say I find this story too obvious I mean this Now lets cut to the chase, apply some logical thinking to that last link and we all know the USA would have flown over and killed them all, this so called ISIS camp in Mexico is too obvious a story, it is true but if it is why have bombers not been over and we got to see images of Mexican ISIS training camps on fire? Why didn’t the USA act? America when people say “ISIS Are in the USA” I am hoping you don’t picture some ISIS camp in your parks or ISIS training camps in your wilderness, that is not ‘ISIS in America” What ISIS in American really means is ISIS are your friends, neighbors, co-workers, guy who runs a local shop, a family around the corner. If indeed there are hundreds of trained ISIS fighters as reported last week in the USA you won’t see them, they blend into your society and be part of your society then start doing what ISIS do, History shows this is the best way to take a county down or make a Country do war is this, but how do we as a World, or the USA fight an enemy willing to die?, I hope the USA and Jade Helm are not just some tool to hurt American people, I pray they Jade Helm is to protect the American people from ISIS.

Apparent threats ISIS have made

Apparent threats ISIS have made

But I can’t stop turning the coin around to the possibility America may fund ISIS. We all know the USA Helped to fund and make Al Qaeda to fight Russia in Afghanistan in the Russian/Afghan war in the 80’s, started in 1979 till 1889. Do a quick google on this subject and you find proof all over America started Al Qaeda, click this here for all the info on this. So I am at a loss basically. I still look to one image, an image I have posted maybe 200 times and still to this day American people don’t have an answer for, and for the record, I find it confusing myself, this is why I ask. Anyway, all we must do is wait and see. If ISIS strike it will be Hell against Christian America, and I am sharing news from other sources, they are all below, go to Google, you will probably find more as this is fairly new news I think. Jade Helm you need to be up to speed on, here are 2 video’s to help. ISIS in Mexico and the USA I think, and you should by now if you are reading and watching who and what I share, be able to see a connection with both and a few other things if you watch the guys video’s below, 2 Americans may I add

And of course this story here, ISIS have taken responsibility for an issue in Texas on Wednesday

On the heels of last weekend’s shooting in Garland, Texas at the “draw Mohammed contest,” an ISIS follower has posted a chilling warning to the United States with explicit threats against the event’s organizer and residents in five states.

The lengthy message posted on JustPaste. It is titled “The New Era:”

To our brothers and sisters fighting for the Sake of Allah, we make dua for you and ask Allah to guide your bullets, terrify your enemies, and establish you in the Land. As our noble brother in the Phillipines said in his bayah, “This is the Golden Era, everyone who believes… is running for Shaheed”.

The attack by the Islamic State in America is only the beginning of our efforts to establish a wiliyah in the heart of our enemy. Our aim was the khanzeer Pamela Geller and to show her that we don’t care what land she hides in or what sky shields her; we will send all our Lions to achieve her slaughter. This will heal the hearts of our brothers and disperse the ones behind her. To those who protect her: this will be your only warning of housing this woman and her circus show. Everyone who houses her events, gives her a platform to spill her filth are legitimate targets. We have been watching closely who was present at this event and the shooter of our brothers. We knew that the target was protected. Our intention was to show how easy we give our lives for the Sake of Allah.

We have 71 trained soldiers in 15 different states ready at our word to attack any target we desire. Out of the 71 trained soldiers 23 have signed up for missions like Sunday, We are increasing in number bithnillah. Of the 15 states, 5 we will name… Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, California, and Michigan. The disbelievers who shot our brothers think that you killed someone untrained, nay, they gave you their bodies in plain view because we were watching.

The next six months will be interesting, To our Amir Al Mu’mineen make dua for us and continue your reign, May Allah enoble your face.

May Allah send His peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhummad and all those who follow until the last Day.
Abu Ibrahim Al Ameriki

California court allows yoga in schools, despite religious objections

Lawsuit said that yoga is a religious exercise, therefore students could not be forced to participate

When I seen this headline I thought ‘Oh a joke page’ But no, people in the USA, Religious people tried to ban YOGA because they thought exercise was a Religion. Anyone who knows me knows I embrace new ideas and cultures but this is totally pathetic America. My dog knows Yoga is something the Hindu Religion practice as part of their Religion but Yoga alone can’t define a Religion, but for parents to ask schools to stop their kids doing yoga tells me how ridiculously uneducated, pathetic and stupid some people can be. Yoga is something woman do here in Scotland as part of fitness classes, not once in my life have I heard of Yoga in a Religious term. I don’t know exactly what these parents thought they were doing but for once the US Law makers got it right. Allow our kids to get fit and do cultural things, this is a cultural thing not a Religion, all these Christians have done is have ago at a very relaxed Religion that does not cast stones in the way Christianity does. I will stop by saying “OH MY GOD” 😦 This is where Religion really pushes people away. I know this is a very very small percentage of people but do know America the other 95% of humanity watching the USA from the outside see this and we really do scratch our heads. I am all for freedom of expression and beliefs but asking your kids not do Yoga because you are Christian is just down right ignorant. Where does this utter stupidity and Religious ignorance end? Really! This is utterly pathetic in more ways than one. I actually feel sorry for the kid who’s parents dragged them through 4 Courts over physical Education at school. So much for Land of the free, home of the brave. This may be small but the bigger picture is worse

A California appeals court last week ruled that a school district in the state could continue to incorporate yoga into its physical education program, despite a lawsuit that objected to it on the grounds of religious freedom.

Stephen and Jennifer Sedlock filed a lawsuit on behalf of their children, who attend school in Encinitas, California, saying that the yoga poses taught to students violate the state Constitution’s religious-freedom provisions, the Wall Street Journal reported. The lawsuit claimed that yoga is “a Hindu religious exercise or practice that is simultaneously physical and religious”.

Encinitas parents complained in 2012 about religious references in the yoga curriculum, prompting the school district to remove Sanskrit and mentions of the spiritual or divine. The lower court ruled that the yoga curriculum did not contain any religious, mystical or spiritual trappings, the Journal reported.

The California Fourth District Court of Appeals agreed with the lower court. “It is clear that while yoga may be practiced for religious reasons, it cannot be said to be inherently religious or overtly sectarian,” the court said in a ruling Friday. “In the absence of evidence that the District’s program advances religion, no religious coercion is present.

#PoliceState USA – Cop caught with 4 pounds of marijuana at home won’t be charged

By @ShaunyGibson – Used to be @ ShaunyNews Via:

If any more proof of a police state USA was ever needed here it is, by the day cops are above the law. America is now run by criminals in Government, Congress, CEO’s and a Police Force allowed to be above the law. I tire saying this but America you are a Fascist State. Below are many examples of a police state, my words and the actual meaning. This cops job was to hand all drugs into his office of work and log it in the system, he kept it in his car!

Wake Up America: The Rise of the Police State
Via Police State USA on You Tube – Police state is a term that originally designated a state regulated by a civil administration, but since the middle of the 20th Century, the term has “taken on the emotional and derogatory meaning of a government that exercises power arbitrarily through the police.”The inhabitants of a police state experience restrictions on their mobility, and on their freedom to express or communicate political or other views, which are subject to police monitoring or enforcement. Political control may be exerted by means of a secret police force which operates outside the boundaries normally imposed by a constitutional state. Robert von Mohl, who first introduced the rule of law to German jurisprudence, contrasted the Rechtsstaat (“legal” or “constitutional” state) with the aristocratic Polizeistaat(“police state”)

A California police officer already being investigated by the District Attorney’s office was discovered with four pounds of marijuana in his home, but he won’t be charged with possession. His future on the force, however, is uncertain. K-9 police officer Joe Avila, a veteran with the Richmond Police Department, has been on administrative leave since September after an internal investigation found he failed to file more than three dozen police reports.

One of those reports involved the seizure of four to five pounds of marijuana. Instead of storing the pot in the department’s evidence locker, Avila stored it in the trunk of his car and home, and failed to file a police report about the seizure. The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office, which has been investigating the case, said it is not inclined to file charges. The county’s chief public defender, Robin Lipetzky, told The Contra Costa Times the evidence is not strong enough to produce a conviction.

What a surprise, the cop who stole #Cannabis won’t be punished. #AskACop, they know how to get away with anything!

The incident happened on November 25, 2013, when Avila picked up a box containing the marijuana from a UPS store. He radioed a dispatcher to say he would file an incident report, but that never happened and the marijuana never found its way into the department evidence locker, a violation of police policy.

Instead, the marijuana ended up in his Oakley home. According to police sources, officers are required to follow strict guidelines about labeling, packaging and storing potential evidence. They must also file a police report before the end of their shift unless special circumstances dictate they don’t.

When questioned about his missing incident reports, Avila told investigators that he used two pounds of the marijuana to train his police dog in February 2014. When pressed, he acknowledged there may be more in the trunk of his K-9 patrol car or at his house. During their search, police found marijuana in the home.

USAF jets scrambled TWICE as nuclear-capable Russian bombers go on practice run off Alaska… then fly within 50 miles of Californian coast

Four Russian strategic bombers triggered U.S. air defense systems while conducting practice bombing runs near Alaska this week, with two of the Tu-95 Bear H aircraft coming within 50 miles of the California coast, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) confirmed Wednesday. “The last time we saw anything similar was two years ago on the Fourth of July,” Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, a Norad spokesman, told the Free Beacon. Davis said the latest Bear H incursions began Monday around 4:30 p.m. Pacific time when radar detected the four turbo-prop powered bombers approaching the U.S. air defense zone near the far western Aleutian Islands.

Two U.S. Air Force F-22 jets were scrambled and intercepted the bombers over the Aleutians. After tracking the bombers as they flew eastward, two of the four Bears turned around and headed west toward the Russian Far East. The bombers are believed to be based at the Russian strategic base near Anadyr, Russia. The remaining two nuclear-capable bombers then flew southeast and around 9:30 P.M. entered the U.S. northern air defense zone off the coast of Northern California. Two U.S. F-15 jets were deployed and intercepted the bombers as they eventually flew within 50 miles of the coast before turning around and heading west. A defense official said the four bombers also were supported by two IL-78 aerial refueling tankers that were used for mid-air refueling during the operation this week.

The Tu-95 is a long-range strike aircraft capable of carrying nuclear cruise missiles. Other versions are equipped with intelligence-gathering sensors and electronic warfare gear. It has a range of around 9,400 miles without refueling. Davis said the aircraft “acted professionally” and the bombers appeared to be conducting a training mission. “They typically do long range aviation training in the summer and it is not unusual for them to be more active during this time,” he said. “We assess this was part of training. And they did not enter territorial airspace.” The bomber incursion is the latest Russian nuclear saber-rattling amid stepped up tensions over Moscow’s military annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea.

Rep. Mike Conaway (R., Texas), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, called the Russian flights “intentional provocations.” “Putin is doing this specifically to try to taunt the U.S. and exercise, at least in the reported world, some sort of saber-rattling, muscle-flexing kind of nonsense,” Conaway said in an interview. “Truth of the matter is we would have squashed either one of those [bombers] like baby seals.” “It’s a provocation and it’s unnecessary. But it fits in with [Putin’s] macho kind of saber-rattling,” he said, adding that he expects Russia will carry out more of these kinds of incidents in the future. Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, a former Alaska commander for the North American Aerospace Defense Command, said he does not remember a case of Russian strategic bombers coming that close to the U.S. coast. “Again we see the Obama administration through their covert—but overt to Mr. Putin—unilateral disarmament, inviting adventurism by the Russians,” McInerney said in an email.

“At the height of the Cold War I do not remember them getting this close. Mr. Putin had to approve this mission and he is just showing his personal contempt for President Obama right after meeting him in Normandy less than a week ago,” McInerney said. McInerney said no American president has been treated with such disrespect in U.S. history. “A sad day indeed and at the same time Mosul and Tikrit [Iraq] fall to radical Islamists after the Obama administration’s failed Iraq policy,” he added. “He snatched defeat from the jaws of victory yet again.” The Alaska-California bombers flight also came a month after a Russian Su-27 interceptor jet flew dangerously close to a U.S. RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft flying over the Sea of Okhotsk, north of Japan.

In that incident on April 23, the Su-27 jet flew close to the RC-135, turned to reveal its air-to-air missiles to the crew, and then flew dangerously close to within 100 feet of the cockpit in a maneuver military officials called reckless. Davis said in the past 10 years, 50 Bear H bombers were intercepted near U.S. air defense zone, although he acknowledged that Monday’s flight near California was unusual. In April, a telephone conversation between two Russian ambassadors was posted on YouTube and appeared to show the diplomats joking about the Ukraine crisis and discussing the possible incursions in the United States and Eastern Europe. The leaked conversation between Igor Nilokaevich Chubarov and Sergey Viktorovich Bakharev, Russian ambassadors to the African nations Eritrea and Zimbabwe and Malawi, respectively, includes references to post-Crimea Russian imperialism to include Eastern Europe and “Californialand” and “Miamiland.” Russian Bear H flights elsewhere have increased in recent years. In February 2013, two of the bombers were intercepted as they circled the U.S. Pacific island of Guam, in a rare long-range incursion.

Two Bear Hs also were intercepted near Alaska on April 28, 2013.

A Russian Bear H incursion in Asia took place in in July 2013 when two Tu-95s were intercepted by Japanese and South Korean jets near the Korean peninsula and Japan’s northern Hokkaido Island. The July 4, 2012, bomber flights near the West Coast were the first time since the Cold War that Russian jets has traveled so close to the U.S. coastline. That action followed an earlier intrusion by Tu-95s near Alaska that were part of large-scale strategic nuclear exercises by the Russians aimed at practicing strikes on enemy air defenses. Russia has stepped up provocative nuclear war games in recent years as part of propaganda efforts to display Moscow’s dislike of U.S. missile defenses in Europe.
