The Broken Family Unit – It’s a Global Selfish Uncaring World!! God is Money!

Lately as I wake up to an uncaring World torn between what they desire and what they think they want, and also the lust for Money everywhere is very hurtful to stand back and watch. I remember when I was a child in the 1980’s, Family was close, if one fell, we all fell, then helped each other back up. Today the ‘Family Unit’ is broken and all I can see is Money and Ego getting in the way. My Father is in his early 70’s and lives on a small Island somewhere; he has Dementia and NOBODY CARES, NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT HIM. It seems I am the ONLY person who keeps in touch with my Father, he has NOBODY really, he is alone with his thoughts and I have no idea being 700 miles away and unable to travel to him for ‘Many’ reasons, how bad things are for him, and everyone else is just caring about the people they stayed close too, like siblings, MY OWN, who turned away to the other side of whatever family. Jesus, the more I think about it, can I blame them? Pause for thought Shaun!

Me and my Nana in 1973

I remember when my Dads Mother, my Nana passed away, she died alone and unhappy. Often I think back to her, the top of my Family Tree and cry. I cry because ‘SOMETHING’ made people walk away from her, in the end she died alone and thinking nobody cared. I took ALL the blame because I was a bad kid, but I still tried, as I did along with one Aunt who sadly passed too were the ONLY PEOPLE to try. I visited most nights to make sure my Nana was in bed ok, the gas was turned off and she was safe. This was back in the 1990’s. I remember the wake after the funeral, the guilt I felt was self inflicted. My Aunt who has sadly passed away was there and came to me. She gave me a hug and said “Penny for your thoughts” I then told her what was on my mind, my Aunt cried a little and said words that helped, and I will never forget her for that and many reasons.

Edinburgh, Scotland – My Home

20 years on and my Family on BOTH SIDES is broken, I don’t see my own Sons any-more as ‘THEY DON’T WANT TO GET INVOLVED’ But involved in what? Life? Family? Love? Yeah it’s a confusing emotion. My own Mother is in a bad place and it’s SO HARD as I have NO IDEA how bad things are for her, not a clue, nobody speaks, nobody seems to give 2 fucks any more. It’s all ‘Me, Me, Me’ wherever I go, the IRONY of it all is wherever I go it’s all about ‘SHAUN’, and this is from people I have never seen in 20 years or seen in the passing a few times over the time we had two sons I am so proud off along with their Mother and now 2 little girls that literally keep me alive. But looking back I look back and smile, Edinburgh is my home, I want to leave the mess behind, but Edinburgh taught me all I know. Life just happens but Family from Childhood all moved away from Edinburgh, often I ask myself “IS EDINBURGH SO BAD” I don’t think so, it’s a beautiful place

Memories

I see a World so uncaring, so Money oriented, so scared of ‘EMOTION’ it hurts, afraid to ‘Talk deeply’ even one time and move away from it. I have never left my Childhood in the sense I am still living my life around the same people and same area of Edinburgh, Scotland. But the Family unit IS BROKEN wherever I look, anywhere I look, most if not all families just DON’T CARE, and the ones who do care are selective on WHAT SIDE OF FAMILY THEY CARE FOR, sadly many chase the money and side-step people who are ill. It’s horrible to watch. Again I am ‘Irony’ I know it! But like many I get blamed always, so I may as well be irony and just take blame right?

I have two little girls here aged 8 and 7 years old; they are starting to take note of NO FAMILY. They don’t know why, I MUST take some blame as I do have a car but LIFE JUST SAYS I CAN’T DRIVE SOMETIMES. My partner does her VERY BEST to show my Girls life, but it’s ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to sit with Family in all directions be them blood or not these days. People just hate, fear and loath over money or emotions life somehow forgot to teach a generation of people. Where did we go wrong globally, can you see it, do you even care? I know I do, but it’s like trying to fart against a storm to stop if. Yeah Scottish humor right there, got to keep smiling yeah?

What happened to us?

What happened to us all? What happened to you? What happened to me? What happened to us? Will you read this and ACCEPT BLAME? Because these days all I get from these kinds of people is ‘IT’S NOT MY FAULT’, YEAH! People just TAKE THE BLAME. I am a Grandfather in name only; I don’t see my Grandchildren and I am at the stage of giving up on EVERYONE. HOW FUCKING SAD IS THAT? And THEY will read this and just accept and not try to make up. I get it, sadly I understanding it. The worst decision I ever made was to wake up to this World, it’s IN DIRE TROUBLE

Right now if I could I would sell up, get a passport and take my Girls to Australia where I have some family who still ACTUALLY CARE. Recently I had 2 Cousins who flew from Australia to Scotland to spread ashes for a parent they lost and ONLY around 12 people or so showed up from the Scottish side of my Dads side of the Family, a family that is FUCKED. I am irony because I was not there myself, but I respected them by not going as certain people just want to get drunk and cause FIGHTS because they think ‘Being a Tough Person’ suits their style. I was one from 20 people who stayed away TO RESPECT my Australian family, I am not alone, about 10% of the Family turned up for them, Australia to Scotland and THIS!

[NOW HEAR ME OUT FFS] I was on HEROIN Levels of Drugs till a year or so ago till a voice in my head said “Tell the Dr you want out” and my Dr was amazing and changed medication allowing me to wake up JUST ENOUGH to see two little girls beside me, but also others who just ARE NOT INTERESTED in anyone bar themselves, I respect private people, I must respect hate, anger and fear in others because like you, do we have a choice? My pain is no worse nor no less than yours, my issues one and the same as you who read this. Put aside health and money for a moment and I see it, my friends see it, Family I do speak to feel like I do. It’s hurtful and awful.

I can almost remember this, I was always youngest

But Family members of mine will read this and see HATE, ANGER OR FEAR. The 3 emotions one of my Parents pressed me HARD to lose from my mind over many years. Always one of my parents was telling me “Shaun, hate anger and fear will drag you to the grave”!! So I listened and now all I do is hurt. I woke up to a level of dysfunction so badly I just want to smother the pain in drugs and say ‘Not interested’, this morning I TRIED TO REACH OUT TO A BROTHER AND A SISTER due to a worry I have for one of my Parents and I got NOTHING BUT ‘SHIT THROWN BACK IN MY FACE”, same old bullshit like “Aww Shaun!! People get old and it’s JUST LIFE” << WHAT ON EARTH HAS HAPPENED TO US ALL? I am close enough with many people still who hurt people with lack of caring people and it’s so hard to see. I have my life partner here HURTING daily because of lack of love from her OWN! You can’t deny this if you read, BUT YOU HAVE CHOICE TO FIX IT, and we are here should you decide to ‘GET INVOVLED’ in love of Family

I see 1 option for my Daughters, and it’s a new life, new ways, somewhere where people care. My only doubt and question is “DOES IT EXIST?” I fear it does not. But as long as I have air in my lungs and a mind to try hard, I will protect my Daughter from Hate, Anger and Fear like many friends and family and I who have young kids agree on “WE WILL NOT ALLOW OUR KIDS TO GROW UP AND BECOME SELFISH AND UNCARING PEOPLE” And I refuse to do this with my Daughters, AT ANY COST! Even if it hurts me to walk away totally.

I wish I felt the emotion to this picture….1975 I think

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THIS WORLD? I remember a Family so close on all sides, then I seen Drink and Drugs, abuse, hatred and more and people just slowly did what I IRONICALLY AM SAYING HERE…They just walked away! The old saying of “If you can’t beat them, join them” seems my only option for my Daughters. This rant, as it will be called a rant! if anything, it’s just a confused question of ‘HOW AND WHY’ can I help two little girls see love and happiness? I will do my best to search for answers for MY 2 DAUGHTERS!!! I must therefore be like the rest and turn around, walk away and say “I love you, but I must look after my own”

THE IRONY OF IT ALL IS KILLING ME! I am fucking BADLY disabled, my body lives in pain and my mind is FUCKED. Yet I feel I am the only person looking at our kids, all our kids, globally and thinking “HOW CAN I MAKE IT BETTER” – But then I pause, reflect, and KNOW there are people like me who want to mend the ‘Broken Family Unit’. How we sit back and allow each other to hurt and die alone, how we allow our minds to be turned by actions of perversion be them literal or fiscal is beyond my thoughts.

….I am lost, but I must find a way for 2 little girls. AT ANY AND ALL COST. No longer will I allow myself to be #Anger #Fear or #Hate, I purged my soul of these 3 deadly emotions. Sadly most people I see have not, most have 1 or 2 or all 3 emotions of Anger, fear and hate. Why?

It was ACTUALLY fun before….. lol – That is me crying North-West Scotland as my Sibling laughs 😀 Good times!!

Whoever reads this, and I only get about 300/500 reads per day these days [NOT THAT NUMBERS MATTER, I would rather 50 REAL people read it than 1,000 uncaring people read this, I am asking why has our World walked away from itself and to what? Money the illusion of happiness through the illusion of money?  But then I know people reading this will just point the finger back at me and my kind, and allow the circle of #Anger #Hate and #Fear to be in their very minds and souls, and transmit it to their own. So I MUST protect my girls from these emotions, so they grow to be free from these emotions. IF IT’S MY LAST ACT AS A HUMAN, THEN SO BE IT, I ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE WITH LOVE AND A SMILE.

When in Rome……..You know the rest surely! We give up on each other too easily. Why?

#Peace

I miss them all…All I knew!

MORE LOVE, LESS HATE

Now that I don’t blog as in sharing, I am now talking to myself and this is just a diary for myself to read, for my eyes only, unless staff of course can still see this, if so, hey, thanks for dropping in. This is a song about my City. Like anyone and everyone I am very proud to be where I am from, I am from Scotland. And like everyone I love my City, the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh the place I love. What an amazing place with so much history going back a VERY long way, so far back that my last house was older than around 20 Countries on this Earth, it really is that old in looks where I am from. Every day or every other day we walk past something that meant something to someone 500 or even 1,000 years ago, and we do lose sight of that, this song is a reminder only, nothing else. I hadn’t heard this song till it was shared with me this morning by a family member. So, to myself for my eyes only, this really touched me, the song was about an Edinburgh couple in love and trying to keep the love, that is what I took from it. I enjoyed it, no denying that! I applaud your timing

I applaud your style

Now I feel like dying

It’s been this for a while

I can hear your silence

I can feel your eyes

You can speak your mind but you never will

And now we’re running out of time

In that Edinburgh bar you said nothing was wrong why were you lying to me

In that Edinburgh bar you said nothing was wrong why were you lying to me

In that Edinburgh bar

In that Edinburgh bar

I can see you’re lying

Well that’s nothing new

Well there’s no denying

How I feel for you

How can I continue?

Tell me what to do

I guess I’ll hide my feelings

Keep from losing you

In that Edinburgh bar

you said nothing was wrong

Why were you lying to me?

From Shaun – for love

My Daughter’s ‘Build A Bear’ Party at Ocean Terminal – Royal Boat Britannia

Mainly 'My Little Pony' stuffed toys

Mainly ‘My Little Pony’ stuffed toys

My oldest Daughter had a party for her best friend this morning at 10AM with 9 of her best friends, so it gave me and my youngest Daughter and my Partner time to walk around ‘Ocean Terminal’ shopping center/mall for 2 hours early today. I must admit last night I was all “But who has a party 20 miles away from the area we all live on a Sunday THAT early?” But total fair play to the wee girl who was 7 years old today and praise to her Parents, all the 10 Girls got a huge Teddy of their choice and food and it costs a fortune. Everything else aside I am just BLESSED to live in such an amazing area of Scotland, just on the outskirts of Edinburgh heading North to the Highlands, love my area, my friends, my kids friends parents and all the people I grew up with as a kid myself as I lived here from 11 years old, love the place. The package deal of where I live you can’t put a price on, I don’t think so anyway, happy is a hard place to find sometimes and I know how fortunate I am in my life. People say “But you live in agony Shaun” but I refuse to be defined by that these days, pain is horrific but this living I am now doing is amazing fun, hard, but worth it. I took photo’s of the ‘Royal Boat Brittania’ that is anchored at the North Port of my City, the Queen’s old Yaught. I totally dislike the Royal Family and all we pay them, but many from all over the World ask me to share these things so for you I will. This is one of the middle sized malls in my City, freezing cold as it’s right on the seafront. My Daughter had a great time and we also bought my youngest Daughter ‘Princess Luna’ My Little Pony as she wasn’t invited for obvious reasons, only fair right? 😀 Images from our day below. Then I came home and watched Celtic win the 2015/2016 SPFL for the 5th season in a row. On the back of the SNP winning a 3rd term to run Scotland I must say it has been an amazing week. New haircut and glasses and feeling better (ISH) Now I ruin all this and am now going to do my daily Gym session, then bed for a few hours or all day to recover. Sharing the caring!!! All this aside, living with 3 disabilites is a bit hard, prescribed drug free is amazing fun, I traded more pain for a clear mind and today was just 1 moment, I have a million to share and many more to come, same as anyone, so we got to be thankful I think. Taking days like today for granted I probably used to do, now I am in every moment and wanting to keep it, so I did 😀 Downside 😦 is I spent a small fortune on the blue pony below, new 10″ Tablet for my Partner, 3 Blue-ray movies and my new Headset for me that I did not need, nothing fancy, HD, 7.1 surround sound with a Mic you can take off or leave on 😀 Sorry, can’t help myself

Top 10 Interesting Facts About Scotland – By an American

maxresdefault

Just part of the scenery

Whoever this guy is he isn’t really correct much here. But a few things he is spot on or half correct. And yes, number 1 on the list is as we expect here. But it brings in Millions of pounds to our new Devolved Scottish Parliament in my city Edinburgh, also the Capital City. This guy did research, sadly he mentioned kilts like we wear them to go shopping 😀 We NEVER wear kilts unless it’s a wedding, but even then it’s a few. His talk on the ‘Vaults on number 9 are so untrue. He speaks in number 7 about Ginger hair, TOTAL RUBBISH 😀 Number 6, unicorns, we NEVER talk about, EVER, guy who started this crap was an English King, he is correct on sport, also how good our Education and Health care is because they are both number 1 in the World. Apart from all that, 5 out of 10 for research and truth 😀 Good fun here, nothing else

Disinvestment to Drylaw Centre Edinburgh – Shouldn’t happen [PETITION]

bg-1-141469

This is an area where I was born, I grew up there, learnt a bit of life there, so I could not pass up a chance to try and help a cause I was aware of but not to the level I am now. Seems the Scottish Government want to do away with this centre and the people of the area and some Politicians are trying to keep the doors open. I have just read as much as I can on the subject and had to act. I get sent a TON of these a week and often I just don’t have the time to research it to the point I know the meaning of the Petition. To anyone born in Drylaw, Muirhouse, Pilton, Granton or Telford, please take a second or two to sign this petition to keep alive something the local area and it’s people need and don’t want to lose. This isn’t about POLITICS, who is right, who is wrong, this is about people coming together to do ‘The right thing’, please try and sign and if not please share. We might be 100/200 miles from you but an independent Scotland means we are in it together, lets start showing what a Free Scotland will do. We may not be free but to be free we must become 1, so lets start here. This impacts family and friends of mine. I ask please. Sign and share. What this Centre represents is what my life is today, this area made me, and many of the issues in the first paragraph are things I would need if I still lived there, being disabled myself with two young kids.

Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre to close on 31st March due proposed ‘disinvestment’ by the City of Edinburgh Council in this year’s annual grant programme to charities. Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre provides a huge range of essential, accessible services to people of all ages – from babies to residents in their 90s – including people experiencing physical disabilities, mental health issues, learning difficulties, social isolation and poverty. Services are delivered by, for and with local people. Maintenance of this grant funding is essential to keep the Centre open and continue its work to help Drylaw thrive. There are no grounds for ‘disinvestment’. This is a much valued and successful Community Centre serving as a local hub in an area of multiple deprivation and across the Inverleith Ward. There is no public building in the immediate area and the Centre operates as a contact and service co-ordination base during severe weather to help vulnerable people. It has received Council support since inception and has met all grounds and targets for grant funding. User satisfaction levels are regularly evaluated and range between 80 – 100%. This year, the Council are proposing to offer grants to new, un-tested projects – including those run by private businesses – rather than local charities or voluntary/community groups who rely on Council funding. Without Council funding most other trusts and foundations will withdraw or refuse additional funding to charities which provide essential community services. Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre is financially lean and efficient – but it delivers big outcomes for its 1000’s of users each year, including running the essential breakfast club for Ferryhill Primary School. Petition wise there are 247 signatures needed to reach 500, PLEASE HELP!

Edinburgh street named Scotland’s most polluted after study reveals high levels of toxic fumes

Not Scotland's most liked media...

Not Scotland’s most liked media…

Because I live in the North West of Edinburgh I am in the middle of the main roads leading West and North to other parts of Scotland. ‘Rush Hour’ in my area is a time when everyone knows “Leave it a few hours to go out”, often it’s so bad we make ‘Rush Hour’ a part of our lives because it impacts so heavily on our lives in these parts of the World. The number 1 worst area for Air Pollution is St John’s Road, this road takes you out West towards Edinburgh Airport and the M8 (M=Motorway/Freeway for foreign readers) leading West. Go the other way and the Road leads you ONLY over the Forth Road Bridge into the Highlands of Scotland. So I live right in the middle of two of the worst roads for pollution it is untrue, but we live so far in the middle we are also high up a hill, the fumes don’t come to my area where I live, but we do avoid it when possible if we have to go out at rush hour. Also I take this from the Daily Record. If you are not from Scotland it is ALMOST looked upon as a Media to not help the Scottish Yes Movement. They say in the image above they want ‘Fairness for Scotland’ But if we look, they stopped asking for us. This is a Scottish Newspaper, it should be asking EVERY DAY why Scotland isn’t getting a fair deal, or what was promised. But that is for others to debate at another time. For now, the pollution levels are high, but compared to China, Japan, Parts of Europe, Asia and the America’s the levels are very low compared to say Hong Kong

Would “Scotland’s Champion” Give up on it’s people? #JustSaying

I live other side of the hill from my High Street

I live other side of the hill from my High Street

ST JOHN’S Road in Edinburgh was yesterday named Scotland’s most polluted street. The busy route into the capital was found to have dangerously high levels of nitrogen dioxide in a study by environmental campaigners. Investigators discovered that toxic fumes belching from cars, lorris and buses were 60 per cent above safe levels . Hope Street in Glasgow and Seagate in Dundee made up the top three worst streets for nitrogen dioxide fumes, which are known to be linked with serious health problems including heart attacks, strokes and respiratory illness. The safety limit for nitrogen dioxide is 40 microgrammes per cubic metre, and for particles 18 microgrammes per cubic metre. The top three streets reached levels of up to 65 for nitrogen dioxide.

Hope Street, Glasgow made the top three

Hope Street, Glasgow made the top three

The study, based on official government statistics, showed that the air in cities and towns across Scotland was a danger to public health. According to the latest government monitoring, levels of nitrogen dioxide and tiny sooty particles are polluting urban areas with fatal consequences. Around 2000 Scots die prematurely every year due to the fumes spewing from heavy traffic. Hope Street in Glasgow was second on the list of the country’s choking . The new figures, compiled from official measurements by Friends of the Earth Scotland, have prompted a renewed threat of legal action against the Scottish Government for failing to tackle the problem. ClientEarth, an environmental group that took the UK government to court on air pollution and won, is warning that Scottish ministers could be next. “These results show the scale of the problem facing Scottish cities,” said ClientEarth lawyer Alan Andrews.

Seagate, Dundee was also a top offender

Seagate, Dundee was also a top offender

“People who regularly walk along these streets are being exposed to illegal levels of pollution that can seriously damage their health. “Scottish ministers should be aware that they could be subject to legal action if they do not tackle this public health crisis.” 13 urban streets exceeded annual average limits for nitrogen dioxide or tiny particles, or both, in 2015. This is fewer than the 23 streets in 2014, but campaigners say last year’s wet weather masked the true extent of the pollution.

Emilia Hanna from Friends of the Earth Scotland said: “Air pollution causes over 2,000 early deaths in Scotland each year at a cost of over £1.1 billion to the economy.” Hanna called on the Scottish Government and local councils to put more resources into cutting pollution and to ban high-polluting vehicles from city centres. “The government must support local authorities with funding required to implement low emission zones in our cities to tackle the scourge of dirty air in our towns and cities,” she said.

David Newby, a cardiology professor at the University of Edinburgh , said: “It is disappointing that despite the well publicised and documented health hazards attributable to air pollution, Scotland continues to breach air quality standards. “This is harming the population of Scotland and potentially causing avoidable health problems including heart attacks and strokes.”

The Scottish Government and councils stressed that significant improvements in air quality had been achieved in recent years. “We recognise that there is more to be done to deliver further benefits for human and environmental health where areas of poorer air quality remain,” said the environment minister, Dr Aileen McLeod.

The City of Edinburgh Council disputed some of the pollution figures, arguing that actual exposures to people were lower. It listed 14 moves it was making to improve air quality, and pointed out that 97 per cent of city streets met required standards. “We are making every effort to address pockets of poor air quality in the city,” said the council’s transport and environment convener, Councillor Lesley Hinds.

According to Glasgow City Council , 95 per cent of the city now met air quality targets though Dumbarton Street in the city’s West End is one of the most polluting streets in the country. “While we have made good progress, we recognise that there is more to be done,” said a council spokeswoman. “We will continue to work together with our partners to reduce air pollution levels and improve the health of our citizens.”

20 things you will only know if you have lived in Scotland

trolleyIrn Bru is a staple diet

Shamelessly stolen from a Scottish Online Newspaper 😀

1. Irn Bru is the only thing that can cure a hangover. It doesn’t matter how much you had to drink the night before, a nice bottle of Irn Bru will solve all of your hangover problems.

2. It is ‘taps aff’ weather as soon as it goes over 10 degrees. You know that on the first sight of the sun then people will soon be half naked. Doesn’t matter if it isn’t even that warm, this is our summer and we must take advantage of it.

3. You are always prepared for rain. It could be the hottest day on records in Scotland, but you’ll always remember to take a jacket with you because you can never be sure when the weather will change.

4. GP32748603You have to favour Celtic or Rangers. Reuters The advisory group has highlighted the importance of strict liability for sectarianism in football You must support one of the Old Firm. Even if you support neither then you have to prefer one or the other. “But which one of the Old Firm do you like” is a reply you usually get if you say you support Cowdenbeath or Stranraer.

5. You like either Glasgow or Edinburgh. You can’t like both. Similar to the Old Firm question, you have to be a west coaster or east coaster. You can’t like both. It just isn’t right.

6. You will never meet a foreigner without them having some Scottish heritage. You have to nod your head and smile politely every time someone mentions the fact that their great-great Granny was Scottish. And no, you don’t know their seventh cousin they have never met but lives in Scotland.

7. In school, Ceilidh’s were as important as Maths and English. The Gay Gordons were a vitally important part of the curriculum. As much time was spent on them as learning your times tables.

8. Allan-GallacherYou are confused when sausages aren’t square. A roll and sausage, How can sausage not be square?
How can sausage not be square? A question you always ask when visiting family in England.

9. You know junior football doesn’t mean youth football. When you tell someone not from Scotland you play junior football they are generally confused because you are 35 and weigh 21 stone and they wonder how you get away with it.

10. You know a bird doesn’t mean a flying creature, it means a woman. Where are all the birds? is a different question when asked by David Attenborough compared to when you are drunk in the Garage on a Tuesday night.

11. Hogmanay is more important than Christmas. Everybody loves Santa but we all know the important night is Hogmanay. That’s New Year’s Eve for non-Scots.

12. You spend Hogmanay watching Only An Excuse. It is the best show on TV. Nobody can argue anything else. Even the non-football fans love it.

13. You get annoyed when the BBC still call it Henman Hill and don’t name it after Andy Murray. Tim Henman didn’t even manage to win Wimbledon yet he still has a hill named after him. Why is it not Murray Mound?

14. You know how to say Milngavie. Mull-guy. Yeah, we don’t know why either.

15. JS66698173You know that Glasgow Prestwick airport is nowhere near Glasgow. A confusing one unless you live in Scotland. Turns out Glasgow Prestwick is a 40 minute train journey from Glasgow.

16. Chips and cheese is a drunken tradition. A trip to the chippy is always vital after a night out and chips and cheese is the only acceptable thing to order. It doesn’t taste great when you are sober, but it the world’s best meal when drunk.

17. You expect the Scotland football team to come up with a new way of failing to qualify for tournaments. It has been a long time since Scotland made it to a major tournament, and it has got so bad we expect new ways of glorious failure from our national team. We get our hopes up but they are always crushed in the end.

18. You know that deep fried pizza is actually a thing. It is and you’ve had it. Probably at lunchtime in school with some chips.

19. You know that how means why. It doesn’t mean why anywhere else in the world, but it does in Scotland. You can’t explain it but you know it is right.

20. You want evert storm to be called Bawbag. Hurricane Bawbag was a great event in Scotland, and now every time there is a slight wind we reminisce about it.
